Hey šŸ‘‹
v0.1.23 is here.

This release is all about control and speed. Fine-tune your animations with precise duration controls, and navigate the editor faster than ever with the new command palette.

Let's get into it.

ā±ļø Animation Duration Controls - Precise Timing Made Easy

Animations just got more powerful.

You can now set exact durations for your keyframe animations. No more guessing how long an animation should take.

Here's what's new:

  • Drag the slider to adjust duration visually
  • Type in the input field for exact millisecond precision
  • See live preview as you adjust timing

This makes it easy to:

  • Match animation speed across multiple elements
  • Create consistent pacing throughout your video
  • Fine-tune timing for professional polish
  • Sync animations with audio or other elements

Whether you want a quick 200ms fade or a slow 3-second pan, you now have full control.

āŒØļø Command Palette - Your New Power Tool

Press Cmd+P (Mac) or Ctrl+P (Windows/Linux) and the command palette appears.

Type what you want to do. Hit Enter. Done.

Current commands:

  • Export — Jump straight to export settings
  • Add Files — Open file picker instantly
  • Add Text — Create text elements without clicking
  • Element Panel — Open element configuration

No more hunting through menus. No more clicking through panels.

Just press Cmd+P, type, and go.

Why This Matters

The command palette is a power user feature that speeds up repetitive tasks. Instead of:

  1. Moving your cursor to the toolbar
  2. Finding the right button
  3. Clicking it

You just:

  1. Press Cmd+P
  2. Type a few letters
  3. Hit Enter

It's faster. It's cleaner. And once you get used to it, you won't want to go back.

We're starting with four core commands, but expect this list to grow quickly. Future releases will add:

  • Layer management commands
  • Timeline navigation
  • Effect presets
  • And more

What's Next?

We're continuing to expand the command palette and refine the animation system.

Next up: easing curves for smoother, more natural animations.
