Hey 👋
v0.1.22 just shipped.
This is a big one. Keyframe animation support in the editor. A dedicated subtitle tool. And smart video compression.
Let's break it down.
🎬 Keyframe Animation - Full Control Over Time
The editor now supports keyframe animation for:
- Position (x, y) — Move elements across the screen
- Scale — Grow or shrink over time
- Rotation — Spin and rotate with precision
- Opacity — Fade in, fade out, or anything in between
Here's how it works:
- Select an element on the timeline
- Move to the frame where you want to set a keyframe
- Click keyframe diamon icon and ddjust the property (position, scale, rotation, or opacity)
- Move to another frame, adjust again—another keyframe
- The editor smoothly interpolates between keyframes
This unlocks:
- Animated intros and outros
- Dynamic text reveals
- Pan and zoom effects
- Complex motion graphics
- Professional transitions
No more static elements. Everything can move, scale, rotate, and fade exactly how you want it.
📝 New Tool: /add-subtitles-to-video
We've added a dedicated page for adding subtitles to your videos.

🗜️ New Tool: /compress - Smart Video Compression
Sometimes you need a smaller file. Now there's a dedicated page for that.
The new /compress page offers three compression modes:
Basic
Balanced quality and file size reduction. Good for most use cases.
- Target: ~30-40% file size reduction
- Quality: Minimal visible loss
- Use case: General sharing, web uploads
Aggressive
Noticeable compression, but still acceptable quality for web use.
- Target: ~50-60% file size reduction
- Quality: Some visible compression artifacts
- Use case: Fast uploads, bandwidth-constrained environments
Very Aggressive
Maximum compression. Quality loss is visible but file size is minimal.
- Target: ~70-80% file size reduction
- Quality: Significant quality loss
- Use case: File size is critical, quality is secondary
Upload your video, pick a mode, and export.
No complex codec settings. No bitrate calculations. Just pick what you need and go.
